Dama Missy

Dama Missy is the pseudonym of Magda Moro, a hospital radiologist, now retired. Originally from a small village in the province of Pavia, Breme Lomellina, where she remained until she was eighteen, then Ligurian by adoption, lives in Rapallo (Genoa). Convinced that only art and love can sublimate the transience of existence , in her spare time she has always enjoyed reading and writing. At retirement she pulled out of the drawer all her dusty but never forgotten writings. Carlotta Sempiterna ruìna is the first novel, of the yellow-pink genre, published in 2021 (Honorable Mention at the International Literary Award "Santa Margherita Ligure - Franco Delpino" 2021) Some of her poems have obtained acclaim, with publication in Literary Anthologies : International Literary Award City of La Spezia 2006 - WORDS of LOVE and WOMENS PLANET 2022 La Tigulliana - Anthology dedicated to the SUMMER PONTIFFS 2022 - The Poets Agenda. The second book MOMENTS of POETRY (2022) is a collection of poems, as a path of life. Fifty-five poems divided into five chapters (Pessimism, Love, Awareness, Hopes, Colorful) between which there is no clear distinction; each of them releases expansions which, like coils of smoke, intersect forming an inextricable tangle. The various states of mind follow one another, but also overlap, in the different seasons of existence. From the first poem "Life" written at the age of fifteen, the dense network reaches up to the concluding "And? life". The pseudonym Lady Missy is in memory of the beloved dog Missy. Contact: e-
